The "Traditional Buffalo Days Methods of Clothing and everyday tools Construction," project which was originally called "Blackfoot Material Culture: Research, Practical Application, and Revitalization" project has the goal of researching traditional ways of clothing construction, practically applying those skills in the construction of "traditional," clothing, and actively practicing revitalization by teaching individuals, particularly young indigenous youth (and any other indigenous people who want to learn,) these skills because the main philosophy behind this art project is that the more people who know these skills and/or the stories behind these skills the better chance we have for revitalization and preservation of this knowledge for future generations.
